1. Privacy at a Glance
The iOS app GamePlan does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address or precise location. Favourites and settings are kept on your device.
Analytics is opt-in. Analytics collection is switched off in the app's configuration, so nothing is collected unless you actively agree. If you never agree, no analytics data is ever sent - and you can withdraw your agreement at any time in the app's settings.
The app does not use the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), shows no App Tracking Transparency prompt, contains no advertising, and does not track you across other apps or websites. We do not sell personal data.
The website at gameplan.coolman.casa is a static information page. It does not use cookies, website analytics, advertising trackers, social media plugins, or contact forms. As with any website, the hosting server processes technical log data needed to deliver the page securely.
2. Controller
The controller responsible for this website and for the app is:
P.Amini & M. Witt GbR
Fleiderweg 108
50859 Cologne
Germany
Email: support@pamagames.de
3. Website Hosting and Server Logs
This website is served from a virtual server operated by:
FranTech Solutions Inc. (BuyVM)
1621 Central Ave
Cheyenne, WY 82001
United States
Website: buyvm.net
When you visit this website, the server may process technical log data sent by your browser. This can include browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, requested file, time of the request, and IP address. Server logs are used to deliver the website, maintain security, and diagnose technical problems. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not combine server logs with other data sources for user profiling.
Because the server is located in the United States, this involves a transfer of data to a third country. We rely on the appropriate safeguards agreed with the provider, in particular the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, for that transfer.
4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising on This Website
This website does not set cookies. It does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, advertising identifiers, retargeting, affiliate tracking, social media plugins, or comparable website tracking technologies. No consent banner is shown because nothing requiring consent is loaded.
5. Analytics in the App (Opt-In)
Off until you say yes
The app ships with Firebase Analytics collection disabled. Nothing is collected on first launch, and nothing is collected while your answer is still open or if you decline.
We do not ask on first launch either. The request appears at the earliest on the fifth time you open the app, once you have had a chance to see what GamePlan does. You can decline, and we will not ask again.
You stay in control
Your choice is stored on your device and can be changed at any time in the app under Settings › Privacy, with the Share usage analytics switch. Switching it off stops collection immediately, with effect for the future. Deleting the app also ends all collection.
What is collected if you agree
Only a fixed, short list of events, each recorded with a pseudonymous app instance identifier generated by Firebase:
- the app was opened;
- which of the app's tabs was selected;
- that a match detail was opened - without recording which match;
- that a favourite was added or removed, and of which kind - without recording which club or match;
- that the subscription screen was shown, that a purchase was started or finished, which plan (monthly or annual), the result, and whether a subscription is active;
- that a Live Activity was started or stopped, and whether that succeeded.
Firebase adds standard technical context to these events, such as app version, platform, device model, operating system version, language, and approximate region derived from the IP address. Automatic screen tracking is switched off, so no additional screen views are recorded.
What is never collected
We do not receive your name, email address, precise location, contacts, photos, calendar, payment details, or App Store account information. No account, club or match identifiers travel with these analytics events: the app has no accounts, and the events listed above deliberately carry no such IDs. (Enabling Live Activities does send the clubs and matches you follow to us, for that feature alone - see section 6.) We do not access the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), do not use advertising or ad personalisation signals, and do not track you across apps or websites - which is why the app never shows an App Tracking Transparency prompt.
Legal basis and processor
The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future, as described above; the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal is unaffected.
Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase is provided by Google, which processes this data as our processor under the Firebase and Google Cloud terms. This can involve processing in the United States on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Notifications and Live Activities
Notifications and Live Activities work through two separate mechanisms, and they handle data differently.
Kick-off and goal notifications
These are delivered by subscription to topics. When you follow a club or a match, the app asks Firebase Cloud Messaging, operated by Google, to subscribe your installation to a topic that stands for that club or match. Google issues and holds the registration token for your installation and keeps the record of which topics it is subscribed to. We publish a message to a topic; we do not receive your token and we do not learn which installations are subscribed to it.
Live Activities on the Lock Screen
Starting a Live Activity from outside the app requires a token that only Apple can issue for your device. When you enable the feature, the app sends that push-to-start token to a function operated by us, together with the clubs and matches you have chosen to follow, the delivery channel and your language. We store that registration so we can start and update the Live Activity for the matches you picked.
The registration is kept while the feature is enabled. Turning it off, unfollowing everything, or deleting the app removes the follow information immediately; a disabled registration is deleted at the latest after 30 days.
Neither token identifies you personally. Both identify one installation of the app on one device.
Your favourites
The favourites and settings shown in the app are stored on your device. They are transmitted only as part of the Live Activity registration described above, and only when you enable that feature.
Legal basis
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, because delivering the updates you asked for is the service you requested, and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR for the notification permission you grant in iOS. Withdrawing notification permission in iOS settings, unfollowing, or deleting the app ends this processing.
7. Purchases and Subscriptions
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive your payment details, and we do not receive your App Store account information. We only learn whether an installation has an active entitlement. Apple's processing is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
8. Match Data
Fixtures, scores, line-ups and tables are provided by football-data.org and delivered to the app through our own backend. Requests from the app to that backend carry the usual technical information needed to answer them, including an IP address, and are used only to serve the requested data and to keep the service secure and stable (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
9. Contact by Email
If you contact us by email, we process your email address and the content of your message only to respond to your request and handle any follow-up questions.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual communication, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for our legitimate interest in responding to support and legal inquiries. We delete email correspondence when it is no longer needed, unless legal retention duties require longer storage.
10. No Sale or Sharing of Personal Data
We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising, targeted advertising, or personalised ads. This applies to users in the European Union, the United States, and other regions. Because the app has no accounts, we do not maintain account-based user profiles.
11. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal data concerning you. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent - for analytics, directly in the app’s settings - with effect for the future, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
For California and other US state privacy laws, you may have rights to know, access, delete, correct, and opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal data and do not use targeted advertising.
To exercise privacy rights or ask questions, contact us at support@pamagames.de.
12. Children
GamePlan is a general audience sports app. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us by email, please contact us so we can delete it.
13. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the website, the backend, and any support communications we receive. All traffic to this website and to our backend is encrypted in transit. No internet transmission or email communication can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app, the website, or legal requirements change. The current version is always published on this page.
